Fresno Council on Child Abuse Prevention Web Design
This is a recent web design created for Fresno Council on Child Abuse Prevention (FCCAP).
Design Concept
We designed the website to match FCCAP’s logo—clean and simple—by limiting the colors to mostly blue and light blue. The red background for the phone number in the upper right corner calls attention to the number. Screening FCCAP’s logo on every page unites all the pages
without extra text or busyness. Changing color photos of children capture attention and give the visitor a visual image of what the site is about—protecting children.
Meetings/Events
A visitor clicks on Meetings/Events to see the latest news, events, and trainings for parents and mandated reporters. These items are frequently updated by FCCAP staff. Great technology makes updating the website as easy as composing e-mail. Any staff can learn how to post and edit info without having to rely on a Web designer.
Resources
Under Resources, visitors can request videos and brochures. Requests go directly from the website to a staff’s inbox.
Donations & Fundraising
We have incorporated a simple Paypal shopping cart to allow donations and payments for tickets and fundraising activities using not only Paypal, but also Visa and MasterCard.

Authentikan.com Web Design
Authentikan sells custom seals, signs, and certificates to martial arts schools worldwide. We saw a strong increase in the number of inquiries and orders after we used the blog as our home page and regularly updated case studies and new product pictures. The changes also increased our Google search ranking because the search engine likes a site that is constantly updated with new information.
